Jim Bolich | Pastor
Jim began his ministry at Mount Pleasant on July 1, 2018 following a 16 year pastorate in Shippensburg, PA. He has earned degrees in Business Administration (A.A., Lehigh County Community College), Music Education (B.Mus.; Houghton College), and Pastoral Studies (M.Div.; Evangelical Seminary). In addition to his role as pastor, he serves as both the Director of Ministerial Licensing and the Chambersburg Cluster Leader for the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. He enjoys sports, live jazz, and especially good coffee. He and his wife, Janet have two adult sons.
Mark Young | Pastor of Worship & Music
Mark began his ministry here in April 2004. He received a Bachelor of Science in Music and Religion from Liberty University in Virginia and received a Masters of Religion: Worship Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014. He received his Specialized Minister's License by the UB National Conference in 2008. Mark served in the Marines and was part of the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps in Washington, D.C. Mark and his wife Kim have two children and one grandchild.
Bobby Culler | Youth Pastor
Bobby began his ministry here in October 1987. He received a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education in 1987 from Huntington College in Indiana, and he received his Specialized Ministry License as a Youth Pastor in 1994. Mt. Pleasant has been his church home since he was born. Bobby and his wife Amy have two children. To find out more about our Youth Ministry click here.
Heath Lewis | Pastoral Resident
He earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Kentucky Mountain Bible College in 2023. He has been attending since fall 2023 serving the role as pastoral resident.
Sheila Reiner | Children’s Director
Sheila joined the MtP team in August of 2021. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Agriculture Business Management from Penn State University in 1989. Sheila and her husband Darryl have made Mt. Pleasant their church home since 2001. She has volunteered in the children’s department, bible quizzing, fellowship committee and a member of the Koinonia Sunday School. They have 3 children and 2 granddaughters. She enjoys spending time with her family and babysitting her granddaughters.
MaryBeth Knepper | Ministry Assistant
MaryBeth joined the MtP team in October of 2018. Mt. Pleasant has been her church home since she was born. She is involved in many ministries at MtP - teacher in the children's department, volunteer in the youth group, and sings in the choir. MaryBeth and her husband Harry have a son.
