  • Jim Bolich


    Jim began his ministry at Mount Pleasant on July 1, 2018 following a 16 year pastorate in Shippensburg, PA. He has earned degrees in Business Administration (A.A., Lehigh County Community College), Music Education (B.Mus.; Houghton College), and Pastoral Studies (M.Div.; Evangelical Seminary). In addition to his role as pastor, he serves as both the Director of Ministerial Licensing and the Chambersburg Cluster Leader for the Church of the United Brethren in Christ. He enjoys sports, live jazz, and especially good coffee. He and his wife, Janet have two adult sons.

    Pastor of congregational care

    Garry began his ministries here in July 2002. He has been involved in the pastoral ministry serving in various UB churches in the Cumberland Valley for the past 40 years. MtP is Garry's home church, attending here before he began his pastoral ministries. Pastor Garry and his wife Lois have four children and six grandchildren.

    Pastor of worship & Music

    Mark began his ministry here in April 2004. He received a Bachelor of Science in Music and Religion from Liberty University in Virginia and received a Masters of Religion: Worship Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in 2014. Mark served in the Marines and was part of the US Marine Drum and Bugle Corps in Washington, D.C. Mark and his wife Kim have two children and one grandchild.

    youth pastor

    Bobby began his ministry here in October 1987. He received a Bachelor of Science in Christian Education in 1987 from Huntington College in Indiana, and he received his Specialized Ministry License as a Youth Pastor in 1994. Mt. Pleasant has been his church home since he was born. Bobby and his wife Amy have two children.

    Carla joined the MtP team on November 3, 2015. Has been a part of Mt. Pleasant since 1988. As a newlywed, then mother of four, she's well seasoned in the functioning of our church and the godly heritage we desire to promote/provide to our children! She's very pleased with the quality of our children's staff and considers her passion as not only "raising our children up in the way they should go", but also for our church to become known as "the church that loves their children"!

    ministry assistant

    MaryBeth joined the MtP team on October 15, 2018. Mt. Pleasant has been her home church since she was born. MaryBeth and her husband Harry have a teenage son. She is involved in many ministries at MtP - teacher in the children's department, volunteer and small group leader in the youth group, and enjoys going on mission trips, and singing in the choir.
